Green Business Action makes it as easy as possible for micro, small and medium-sized businesses to reduce their environmental footprint and plan a path to Net Zero.
The support we provide is bespoke, and we help our clients focus on what will have the biggest impact. We work with leading industry experts to provide cutting-edge practical advice and insights.
Our team is guided by research giving us deep insights into where London business leaders are on their environmental sustainability journey, the barriers they face and the incentives for action.
We help by…
The day-to-day running of any business will generate carbon emissions, from the energy we use to operate appliances to the products we buy and sell.
Net Zero is a destination to help businesses understand and measure their carbon emissions and create a plan to reduce them by 90-95% and then offset what’s left.
As part of our support, we delve into what this means for each business and the steps they need to take to achieve Net Zero.
Businesses can build their understanding at their own pace through our online learning platform where we make Net Zero simple with practical steps. Or businesses can receive bespoke support in a 1:1 session with an advisor.
Since its inception Green Business Action has been funded by grants and contracts from:
– European Regional Development Fund (ERDF)
– Mayor of London’s Green New Deal Fund
– UK Shared Prosperity Fund through the GLA, London Borough of Tower Hamlets and Hackney Council
To expand our reach and impact we are now developing a Corporate Patrons programme and discussing partnerships with trusts and foundations who share our ambitious goals.
